Spears® BLUE 75™ Thread Sealant is specially formulated, designed, and tested for reliable sealing of plastic piping systems. Unlike other thread sealants, it prevents stress cracking caused by chemical incompatibility and ensures secure, leak-free joints in thermoplastic piping.

Applications & Use Instructions:
Spears® BLUE 75™ is suitable for sealing threads in ABS, PVC, CPVC, nylon, and metal piping systems. It is recommended for Spears® thermoplastic piping products, including threaded fittings, valves, and plastic-to-metal transition components.
- Store and apply between 20°F (-7°C) and 140°F (60°C)
- Ensure threads are clean, dry, and free from oil or dirt before applying
- Apply generously to male threads using the brush applicator
- Assemble joints carefully, avoiding over-tightening
- System may be placed into service immediately
Note: Not recommended for oxygen-handling systems.
